My One New Year Resolution

Theme Song for 2015: Hope you dance by Lee Ann Womack

Everyone's writing an end of the year post. I want to write something too, but I don't know about what..How can a post compass a whole year of moments, good and bad?

New year right? WOW! It came on so fast, just like every year. Every time the year starts it's like a time bomb is ticking away and I feel exhilarated and forlorn at the same time.

(All the pictures are by my wonderful sister. There sis, Happy?! :D)

Well, life's not all that easy. You have good experiences, you have bad ones.

beauty
I Hope you still feel small when you stand beside the ocean.

I remember whenever I had a rough time, I  would go stand here and I would instantly feel at peace. Looking at that waves, I would promise to myself "With the world being so vast, I will never in a million let a small thing like High school status quo or others opinion stop me from being me and doing what I love" and I never did.

Favorite Quotes in the book Feed (Newsflesh #1) by Mira Grant

“We are a nation equally afraid of gathering together and being alone.”

"The truth isn't scary. Not when you understand it, not when you understand the repercussions of it, and not when you aren't worried that something's being kept from you. The truth is only scary when you think part of it is missing."

"Mattel Booth Advertising Urban Survival Barbie, now with her own machete and blood testing unit."

Blogger Georgia And Her Side Kick Diet Coke Are On A Quest To Find Out The Truth In A Zombie Infested World

Hello guys! I hope you had a wonderful Christmas!
Today I'll be reviewing the book  Feed, which I've Finally finished! Yipee!
This is a little different than the usual way I do my reviews, so I apologize if it's really long :)

https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/7094569-feed

Goodreads Synopsis:

The year was 2014. We had cured cancer. We had beaten the common cold. But in doing so we created something new, something terrible that no one could stop.

The infection spread, virus blocks taking over bodies and minds with one, unstoppable command: FEED. Now, twenty years after the Rising, bloggers Georgia and Shaun Mason are on the trail of the biggest story of their lives - the dark conspiracy behind the infected.

The truth will get out, even if it kills them.

Theme Song: The Last Pale Light In The West by Ben Nichols

Book Review of Feed (Newsflesh #1) by Mira Grant

Before I begin the review... Nice title! Feed! Feed like zombies and the blogging thing...Very Clever Ms. Grant :D
I've always loved anything Walker...Um..I mean Zombie (that's what happens when you're on The Walking Dead binge
watch :D)related and I've heard really good and bad things about Feed by Mira Grant (Newsflesh #1), so obviously I HAD to read it.

Series I will NOT FINISH

Once upon a time, there was a sweet, young, talented teenage girl who went on a quest to read wonderful books and gain knowledge. While on her crusade, she had to battle her way through some dark forces such as................................................................................... Shitty characters and stupid plots -_-

The Reboot Series by Amy Tintera. I read the first one, Reboot and it was okay. I actually thought it was a stand-alone, but I was surprised when I found out it was part of a trilogy. I wasn't interested to read the others. It uses the same formula as all the other dystopian books and I don't care what happens to anyone or anything.

But, now, it's time for The Taytay Tag.
I got this tag from Books and Cleverness. You can check hers out here.

The Christmas Song Book Tag

I saw this tag on 'round The Flames blog. You can check it out here. In this tag, titles of popular Christmas songs are taken and a question is made out of each one.

So, here goes!

1. "You're a Mean One Mr. Grinch" - Name a villainous character you couldn't help but love to hate.
President Snow from The Hunger Games Trilogy. An old guy who kills children to further his political agendas and seems to enjoy it? Hell Yeah! He's so methodical in what he does and he's extremely good at psychologically manipulating someone to get what he wants. Maybe it's because I really like the actor playing Snow in the movies. But, looking like Santa and Papa Smurf combined he is a hell lot evil and I find his character really interesting.

A Decent Story, Peaceful Aliens and Some Fun Characters In A Blender

https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1656001.The_Host?from_search=true
I Have Not Read any of the books in the Twilight series. I have watched all the movies, but I didn't read any of the books. I'm still not gonna read them. I consider it an okay story..But they are not in any way Good pieces of literature. No matter anyone says, I'm gonna stand on that! Seriously, I think even the fans of the series know that. The truth is bitter, but it is the truth.

So, I was really surprised when I read The Host by Stephenie Meyer and liked it even though it wasn't the kind of book about aliens I usually read. I'm not gonna be like OMG! That book is Awesome!! There were some things I didn't like, but overall it's a pretty decent read. This a short list of why I think you should give it a try.
Now, these are strictly my opinions. With that said let's get onto business!

To Speak or Not To Speak

Listening has become overrated.

This question has been in my mind for sometime now...do we listen as much as we speak?

Have you ever tried sitting in a room where everyone is talking all at once continuously? It is like many horses neighing at once. Your head would feel like it's trying to explode with all unintelligible sound. It ceases to be a conversation at that point and just becomes plain old noise.Yeah, it's not pleasant. Also it wouldn't get anyone anywhere.

Nowhere Else

November 14th was Children's Day, the day specially dedicated to kids in India in the honor of Dr. Jawaharlal Nehru's birthday and with that day brought a long line of memories starting from Kindergarten. It was fun and enjoyable to watch all the teachers trying to entertain us with whatever talent they had and sometimes they were bad at it, but remembering the effort they took to make us happy filled my heart with pride and immense happiness but, with it also bought the realization that I would never experience it again. I wasn't a school student and definitely not a kid anymore

A Hodgepodge

Average Girl

Just your average girl trying to make her way through the world....

That's what I'm supposed to say if anyone asks, right? Average is good, unnoticed, the shadow that hunches over you, to protect you when you don't want to bring yourself any attention, when embarrassment is inevitable. When it happens, it feels like you're a dear caught in the headlights.
Trying to fit in
Finding your voice, your niche in life. That's the purpose. That's what everyone says. Flailing your arms, swaying with this group and that, trying so hard to find that individuality. The strong leader, the damsel in distress, the stoic introverted girl, the quirky extrovert etc., Each time, experimenting one
